Stress Analysis of Implant-Supported Removable Partial Denture with Anterior Fixed Prostheses and Conventional Implant-Supported Overdentures in the Edentulous Mandible

چکیده
Aim: To compare new design implant-supported removable partial dentures retained with anterior fixed prosthesis a conventional locater and bar attached implant overdenture prostheses by two or four implants via photoelastic stress analysis. Materials Methods: Seven edentulous mandibuler acryclic models prepared divided into main groups; to models, subgroup separation as stated; for locator attachment, crown clasp retention, bridge precision attachment retention; overdenture, retention. A 300 N load was applied the first premolars. Photoelastic analysis method that is specific concerning visualization, does not require statistical analysis, used. The distributions were seen in optically using poloriscope. Results: In implant-retained dentures, distribution found be lower than dentures. Nonsplinted caused high around distal on loading side. Conclusion: loads transmitted other splinting. Implant-supported an prosthetic show compared prosthesis. These appear advantageous terms of transmission.

Implant - supported removable partial denture CLÍNICO | CLINICAL
The absence of lower posterior teeth makes the planning and control of removable partial dentures difficult since support is provided by teeth and mucosa, which present different anatomical characteristics. The planning of removable partial dentures supported on a distal implant renders tooth-implant-supported rather than tooth-mucosa-support dentures an option in distal extension cases. In the...
متن کاملStress Distribution in Natural Tooth and Implant Supported Removable Partial Denture with Different Attachment Types: A Photoelastic Analysis
Background and Aim: Different attachment designs have been developed to connect implant to natural teeth in partial dentures; however, adequate studies have not been performed to determine stress distribution patterns in these designs. The present study aimed to assess stress distribution patterns in natural tooth and implant supported removable partial denture with different attachment designs...
متن کاملMeta-analysis of Failure and Survival Rate of Implant-supported Single Crowns, Fixed Partial Denture, and Implant Tooth-supported Prostheses
BACKGROUND Dental implants have become the most viable option for rehabilitation. Although, many studies report the success of these reconstructions using implants, a cumulative data about the various studies and the failure rate still remain unaddressed. Therefore, the purpose of this systematic review was to analyze these data and to derive the cumulative survival rate of different implant-su...
متن کاملImplant Supported Fixed Restorations versus Implant Supported Removable Overdentures: A Systematic Review
AIM The aim of this study is to systematically evaluate and compare implant retained fixed restoration versus implant retained over denture. MATERIAL AND METHODS Search was made in 2 databases including PubMed and PubMed Central. Title and abstract were screened to select studies comparing implant retained fixed restorations versus implant retained removable overdentures. Articles which did n...
متن کاملeffect of the number of implants on stress distribution of anterior implant-supported fixed prostheses combined with a removable partial denture: a finite element analysis.
the main goal of this study was to evaluate differences in stress distribution relevant to the number of implants under an anterior bridge when combined with a removable partial denture in the posterior region.four three-dimensional finite element models (3d fem) were designed from a mandible containing an implant-supported bridge extending between canines, and a bilateral distal extension remo...
